You can also use a graphic designer for novel designs. Two backgrounds will be produced from your ideas. This will be costed on a time taken basis. The graphics artist has designed many internet sites eg Visit Eden

The disc we supply is copyright free and there are several types of disc and several methods for copying. The cheapest plain white discs are now available for 13p from Jessops. Discs on the internet cost 8p - 10p ( See CD-R Media.co.uk ). You will only need a 'burner' on your PC to do DIY copying. To put your details on the disc either use a pen or a printer. The 'Staedtler' Lumocolour permanent pen can be used on discs. For printing on CD Rom discs, a 'Casio Cd disc printer' (thermal printer) from Argos costs £100 and will label with 'Times New Roman' font in one colour. Epson produce an inkjet printer for £80 (PC World), which will print text and graphics on to printable white CD Roms (15p at Computer Consumables in Workington or use CD-R Media.co.uk, who have Ritek discs at 12p).

If you wish mass production with a leading UK manufacturer, we can arrange to have stylish text on a particular coloured surface. The disc will show title, address and telephone number and be replicated and screen printed. ('Once only' artwork will cost about £40). For an order of 500, each disc costs 80p. For an order of 1,000, each disc costs 50p.

If you wish to have a more stylish disc with for example text, logo and a photographic background image, we can arrange this with a leading UK manufacturer. The disc will be litho printed. ('Once only' art work will cost about £60). Discs can be supplied as 8cm mini discs or 12cm discs. (It is not possible to use small business card discs because they cannot store an adequate amount of data). For an order of 500, each disc costs 90p. For an order of 1,000, each disc costs 60p.

Please telephone or e-mail for further details of this introductory offer - One CD Rom page, with FREE Lake District pages - £50. Make your own copies for 13p.

If you are considering a slide show 'tour' of the rooms and garden, it would be worth asking for a photo shoot to ensure your images are crystal clear. We use a high resolution camera and resized images are all optimized for contrast, colour saturation and sharpness.

You may wish to use video in your multimedia CD ROM. Show the chef at work, swimmers in the pool, people walking around the garden, people being served a meal, people in the gym etc. It is also possible to pan around a room and avoid the appalling distortion effects produced when some 360-views are produced with cameras.

The number of FREE multimedia pages depends on the size of the order and may include:

1. An introductory splash page with your photo or the Lake District photo of your choice, music and animated message.
2. A video page showing a Lake District activity eg. Cumberland wrestling.
3. A page with a comprehensive attractions list for the Lake District.
4. A page with a Lake District panorama.
5. A page with an interactive location map having 16 links from 'lake graphics' to appropriate photographs.
6. A sixteen page slide show of the Lake District showing all the lakes.
7. A page with the Lake District photograph of your choice from the galleries. Build up a slide show of your local attractions.

Sending CD Roms to potential customers is easy. Use a manila envelope and strengthen it by inserting two folded A4 sheets of card. Insert the CD Rom in a sealable cellophane wrapper (1p), insert your complements/special offers/current prices letter and pop it in the post. Mail delivery costs are 21p, or 30p for first class.

They also requested many new pages for walks in the Lake District - these were easy walks throughout the Lake District and suitable for their hotel guests. We provided a free map menu page to help hotel guests with the location of the walks and provided free internet links to a site where high resolution maps could be printed off.
